Our Leadership Training Program came out of a recognized need to ensure that all our Members and Mentors are adequately prepared to address their personal needs and to develop professional development skills, so that they can better support each other, the organization, and ultimately better serve the youth.

Our Leadership Training Program came out of a recognized need to ensure that all our Members and Mentors are adequately prepared to address their personal needs and to develop professional development skills, so that they can better support each other, the organization, and ultimately better serve the youth. We believe that in order for young people to “mimic” what Members do; it’s very important that members are developing their own personal, professional/educational goals. The process by which MIMIC recruits male volunteers from the community is not only addressing re-entry supports, but its part of the lager mission of Male Re-Engagement.
