Ways to Support MIMIC/MIMIC Wish List

If you are interested in being a Volunteer:

  • Please fill out the Volunteer Form – you can volunteer to help run events, to become a MIMIC Member or Mentor, to help pack boxes or coordinate a food drive around the holidays, provide administrative support , data entry support, and in so many other ways!

If you are interested in sharing some in-kind expertise:

  • Share your expertise in any trainings for MIMIC Members and/or Jr. MIMIC members (i.e. financial literacy workshops, SAT tutoring, resume writing programs, computer literacy classes, career exploration discussions, etc.)
  • Share your IT or Database management expertise
  • Financial accounting system development /support

If you are interested in purchasing MIMIC programs/services:

If you are able to donate Items:

  • Walkie-talkies for events
  • Sponsor a street cleaning event (gloves, trash bags, brooms, etc)
  • Sports equipment for outdoor activities with youth (especially handballs, basketballs, footballs, etc.)
  • Trophies for handball tournaments
  • Portable grill for outdoor summertime events
  • Donate old, but functional office equipment (printers, copiers, office furniture, etc.)

If you are able to make financial contributions:

  • Help fund MIMIC Life Line (hotline) and member cell phones
  • Sponsor a MIMIC Graduation Ceremony for a school that can't afford a full celebration for their students and families
  • Contribute to the printing costs of the MIMIC Challenge Curriculum (which is currently in development) & other printed materials - like banners for events and schools.
  • Contribute to MIMIC Branding Items for youth and adults who are part of the programming:( i.e. T-shirts, pens, etc.
  • Help support MIMIC's IT needs via, website hosting costs, newsletter printing and software to keep track of all MIMIC supporters and friends
  • Client database software and licenses
  • Sponsor a meal for a family during the Thanksgiving Drive
  • Adopt a School - sponsor a MIMIC Challenge program at a school that doesn't have the budget to support it.

Other ways to Partner....

  • Identify recipients for holiday drives and host a food drive to help MIMIC fill the many boxes they deliver to clients and families
  • Co- host or sponsor community events
